Welcome to Jezza Roddy’s Musical Lair!
Jezza Roddy (Jeremy Rodriguez) is a music composer living with his wife in her home country Japan. He moved there in 2022 to begin his career as an ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) and completed 4 years.
Jezza’s favorite games include: Sonic the Hedgehog (Genesis era, Adventure 1&2, Generations, Frontiers, etc.), Metal Gear Solid 1-4, Tetris 99, Streets of Rage 1-2, Nonograms (especially the Mario picross games), Yu-Gi-Oh!, and more
Jezza’s biggest influences: Killswitch Engage, ERRA, Tomoya Ohtani (大谷智也), Charlie Parker, Sonny Stitt, Busta Rhymes, salsa in general, and so on
If you are in the mood to listen to a mixture of bone-crushing drum rhythms, soaring orchestral melodies, and tunes that will get you in a meditative state, then please enjoy the music below. There is a free music pack for JRPGs and any high-combat genre you can get from itch.io or Game Dev Market.
Also, stay tuned as Jezza updates his passion project called War Amends: Mechanical Restitution

Total amount of music (minutes and number of tracks)
Music assets (theme, level loops, cinematics or cut scenes, layers),
Utility-stingers (level win, level loss, death stinger, spawn, transitions),

Of course, any other necessary details will be included in our conversation before we come to a final agreement.
The writing process is fairly simple but very interactive. Each track will begin with a short sketch that will be sent to you in order to verify musical direction. After that, a full rough mix will be created and sent by the agreed upon check-in date. Lastly, a final mix will be delivered with any adjustments if they are needed.

Pricing is generally based on a “per-minute” rate. However, I also offer special pricing for multiple-music track packages and full OSTs.
To keep things simple, the format of payment will be half upfront, and half upon delivery.
